This Advent, we are looking back on a Year of Jubilee – of renewal and restoration across our world – and as we enter this season of anticipating Christ’s coming amongst us, we want to thank you for all your support this year.
At this time of year conflict in the Holy Land in Ukraine, and in Sudan, weigh heavy on our hearts, but your support is enabling Catholic compassion to offer some comfort and aid. You can share this page with your parish with our Advent poster.

1. World Gifts - Share our wonderful range of World Gifts by handing out catalogues after Mass and putting a notice in the newsletter.
2. Thank your parish community - Please share this poster with your parish thanking them for their generosity this year, including a link with details of how their support is helping our neighbours in Gaza, Sudan and Ukraine.
3. Hold a festive fundraiser - Whether it's a carol service or a festive mulled wine and mine pies fundraiser, your support will bring Christ's light to our neighbours in need this Advent.
4. Buy a Jubilee icon - As the Jubilee year comes to a close, you can now buy your own reproduction of the Jubilee icon - why not gift one to your priest as a way to commemorate the Jubilee Year 2025 in your parish?

This icon was painted to commemorate the Jubilee Year of Hope. The artist was Mulugeta Araya, a former student of a college in Ethiopia supported by CAFOD. Inspired by the rich tradition of Ethiopian iconography, the icon interprets Jesus' words in Luke 4:16-21:
"The Spirit of the Lord has been given to me, for he has anointed me. He has sent me to bring the good news to the poor...to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour."
