Here at CAFOD we hold all our supporters, volunteers, staff, and those we have worked alongside overseas who have died in our prayers.
We also pray for their friends and family and for all those who mourn, that they may find comfort in this difficult time.
We invite you to join us in prayer using some of the prayers and reflections on this page such as the video reflection above, taken from our annual CAFOD Memorial Reflection service.
A beautiful prayer for use in times of grief and mourning.
A prayer to give us hope and courage when we are at our most vulnerable
Inspired by Psalm 30:11, this prayer asks God to turn our mourning to dancing and to clothe us with joy.
A prayer for all who are grieving, that they may find comfort in God's love.
As we remember our loved ones who have died, we pray that God may be with us in our sorrow and comfort us in our loss.
This beautiful reflection, with words often attributed to Saint Oscar Romero, encourages us to consider the contribution we can all make to build a brighter future for generations to come.
A prayer for all those who mourn, asking God to hold us close and grant us hope.
We give thanks for the past, seek courage to face the present and look with hope to the future.
We pray that we may feel God's love surrounding us and find strength in our weakness.
Remember your loved ones
CAFOD holds a special memorial service of prayer and reflection on All Souls Day to pray for our supporters and loved ones who have died.
We remember supporters, family and friends in our Book of Remembrance. The book is published each October for our November Memorial Mass - find out how to add your loved one's name.
