Tennis Summer of Hope Fundraiser

There are so many ways you can have fun and get creative with your tennis fundraiser. Wimbledon is synonymous with the British summer. So why not throw a Wimbledon-themed garden party? Ask everyone to donate to take part in the fun and dress up as your favourite tennis icon! You could even serve some strawberries and cream or Pimm's to your guests, asking for donations per bowl or glass.  

Or, if you’re up for a sportier challenge, host your own tennis-a-thon! Whether you decide to do a tennis tournament, 24 hours of non-stop tennis or a fastest-serve competition, ask your friends and family to pay to play, or to spectate. You could even hold a tennis-themed raffle at the tournament, or a sweepstake, to raise even more money.  

How can I get involved?

Game: Decide on what your tennis fundraiser is going to be, the date, time and location. Whether that’s your local tennis club, a local court or in your back garden, rally your friends, family and community together for your event. 

Set: Remember to set up your JustGiving page to start collecting donations, and share on social media, email and WhatsApp. 

Match: Have lots of fun! Share pictures and videos on social media, tagging @cafod and #SummerOfHope or email us at events@cafod.org.uk to let us know all about your tennis fundraiser. Don’t forget to pay in any offline fundraising.
