Get active this summer and take on a fundraising challenge for CAFOD!
If you go down to the woods today, you could join CAFOD in making a difference!
Children will love joining teddy for some tasty cake and treats in the garden. You could even hold some teddy-bear-inspired arts and crafts and games. Dress to match teddy or make some teddy bear ears? Who will win the teddy bear race? Or why not take the children on a bear hunt!
So, dust off your tea set, pack the picnic rug and grab your favourite teddy. Don’t forget to ask for a donation for attending!
How can I get involved?
Choose your date, time and location. This could be in your garden, your local park, your nursery, school or playgroup. The picnic will be even more special in the sunshine.
Set up your JustGiving page and share on social media, email and WhatsApp. Ask all your picnic-goers to donate to your page for taking part.
Have lots of fun! Share pictures and videos on social media, tagging @cafod and #SummerOfHope, or email us at events@cafod.org.uk to let us know all about your teddy bear's picnic.
